Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and halved
- 2 ounces light rum
- 1 ounce lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 1 cup ice
- Fresh strawberries, lime wheel optional, for garnish
Instructions
- Add prepared strawberries, rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice to a blender.
- Pulse the blender several times to roughly chop the strawberries and begin mixing.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and the ice is fully incorporated.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more simple syrup or lime juice as needed. Blend again briefly.
- Pour the strawberry daiquiri into a chilled glass and garnish with a fresh strawberry or a lime wheel, if desired. Serve immediately.
