Creamy Southern chicken salad with chicken, celery, and eggs, served alongside croissants.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 cup celery finely diced
  • 1/4 cup onion finely diced
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sweet relish
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Brush the chicken lightly with vegetable oil and season with the garlic powder and celery salt.

  • Bake the seasoned chicken in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until fully cooked. Allow to cool, then chop into small pieces.
