Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken about 4 pounds, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Pat the chicken halves dry with paper towels. Rub each half with olive oil.
