Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dry dill
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil plus extra for pan-frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together kosher salt, lemon juice, brown sugar, garlic, black pepper, and dry dill. Add chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning.

- Place the seasoned wings in a resealable plastic bag and refrigerate to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours for deeper flavor.

- Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Sear the chicken wings on both sides for 1½ to 2 minutes per side or until they develop a golden crust.

- Add an extra tablespoon of olive oil if there is none left in the pan. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid slightly ajar, and cook the wings for approximately 20 minutes. Flip them two to three times during cooking until they are tender and fully cooked.
