Ingredients
- 2 pie crusts homemade or store-bought
- 2 cups chopped apples
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Roll out the pie crusts to 1/8-inch thickness and cut out 12 circles using a 3-inch cookie cutter. Place each circle in a muffin pan cavity, pressing into shape.

- Mix the chopped apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and nutmeg. Fill each crust with the apple mixture and top with a small piece of butter.

- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-23 minutes until the crusts are golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Allow to cool before serving.
