Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts chopped into cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 10 ounces jalapeño peppers seeded and sliced
- 3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated
- 1/3 cup cooked bacon crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375˚F.
- Toss the chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add oil to a large skillet over medium heat and add chicken once the oil is hot. Brown the chicken pieces for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

- Place chicken breast pieces in a large casserole dish. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly over the chicken.

- Layer sliced jalapeño peppers over the cream cheese. Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on top.

- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with crumbled bacon, and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165˚F.
