Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds chicken wings separated into two pieces
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

- Dredge the chicken wings in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated on all sides.

- Arrange the coated wings on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.

- After baking, remove the wings from the oven. Turn on the broiler. Brush the wings with hot sauce and place them on a higher rack under the broiler for 10 minutes, or until they start to char and become crispy.
