Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 4 catfish fillets about 6 ounces each
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • In a shallow dish, mix together cornmeal, flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder.
