Ingredients

  • 2 pre-made flatbreads 6 to 8 inches in diameter
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • Onion powder to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Dried oregano to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • 2 small tomatoes thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 8 fresh basil leaves plus more for garnish
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • Balsamic vinegar for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 425°F.
  • Brush or rub the olive oil over the flatbreads. Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes over the oil.
  • Layer the sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves on the flatbreads. Season with salt and fresh ground pepper.
  • Bake the flatbread pizzas until the cheese is bubbling and turning light brown in spots, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Serve the pizzas immediately. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar or olive oil and sprinkle torn basil leaves on top for garnish.
