Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/3 cup mini-chocolate chips
- Sprinkles as needed (optional)
Instructions
- Spread flour on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 5-9 minutes, or until it reaches 160°F, to make it safe for consumption. Allow to cool completely.

- In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy.

- Mix in vanilla extract and salt. Gradually add the cooled flour, then stir in milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough is smooth and reaches your desired consistency.

- Fold in the mini-chocolate chips (and sprinkles if using) until evenly distributed.
