Ingredients
- 8 ounces uncooked pasta
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish, optional
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of the hot pasta water and then drain the pasta.

- Return the drained pasta to the pot. Add the softened cream cheese and butter. Cover the pot and let it sit for about 1 minute to allow the cream cheese to soften further.

- Uncover the pot and add garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and oregano. Gradually stir in some of the reserved pasta water while whisking until the cream cheese melts into a smooth, creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

- Toss the pasta well to coat it evenly with the sauce. If desired, stir in chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
