Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14 1/2 ounces) drained
  • 12 ounces light beer
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

    Chili Cheese Fries
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, light beer, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, black pepper, and kosher salt. Bring the mixture to a simmer, reduce the heat to low, and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally until thickened, about 45-50 minutes.
    Chili Cheese Fries
  • While the chili simmers, bake the frozen fries according to the package instructions until they are crispy and golden brown.
