- 2 pounds russet potatoes
- 4 teaspoons olive oil divided
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Garlic powder to taste
- Onion powder to taste
- 1 cup diced yellow onion
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 3/4 cup diced dill pickles
- 1/3 cup burger sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F. Wash and slice the potatoes into 1/2-inch matchsticks. Toss them with 3 teaspoons of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet and sprinkle garlic powder and onion powder on top.

- Bake for 35-45 minutes, flipping halfway to ensure even crispness.

- Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the remaining olive oil and sauté 1 cup diced yellow onion until soft.

- Add lean ground beef, Dijon mustard, ketchup, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and crumbly.

- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F. Place the baked fries on a baking sheet and spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over them.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and bake for a few more minutes until the cheese melts.

- Remove the tray from the oven. Top the fries with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and diced dill pickles. Drizzle burger sauce over the toppings. Serve hot immediately.
