Ingredients

  • 4-5 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  • Thoroughly scrub the potatoes. You can peel them if preferred, but keeping the skins on adds nutrients and texture. Cut the potatoes into 1/2-inch thick sticks.

  • Soak the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and rinse them.
