Ingredients
- 4 bone-in skin-on chicken breasts
- Kosher salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

- Season the chicken breasts with kosher salt and black pepper, then place them skin-side up on the prepared pan.

- Bake for 10 minutes, until juices start to appear, then reduce the oven temperature to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

- Brush half of the barbecue sauce over the chicken and return to the oven for 20 minutes.

- Apply the remaining barbecue sauce and continue baking until the chicken is fully cooked and the skin is crispy, about 15 to 20 minutes more.

- Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and serve hot.
