Ingredients
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 4 salmon fillets about 5 ounces each
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water for slurry
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.

- Place salmon fillets in a dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Allow to marinate for 10 minutes.

- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F. Meanwhile, mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water to form a slurry.
- Pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add the slurry, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Place marinated salmon in the air fryer basket and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon is cooked through.

- Serve the salmon drizzled with the thickened teriyaki sauce.
