Air Fryer Teriyaki Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 salmon fillets about 5 ounces each
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water for slurry

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.

  • Place salmon fillets in a dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Allow to marinate for 10 minutes.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390°F. Meanwhile, mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water to form a slurry.
  • Pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add the slurry, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  • Place marinated salmon in the air fryer basket and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon is cooked through.

  • Serve the salmon drizzled with the thickened teriyaki sauce.
