Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 1/2– 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Olive oil or oil spray for coating
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Combine paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt in a small bowl.

  • Pound chicken breasts to even thickness, pat dry, and coat with olive oil.
  • Apply the spice mixture to both sides of the chicken, pressing gently to ensure it adheres.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 360°F. Lightly oil the air fryer basket and place the chicken breasts presentation side down.

  • Cook the chicken for 10 minutes, then flip it and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches approximately 165°F, which should take about 8–10 minutes more.
  • Generously brush the BBQ sauce over the chicken and return to the air fryer for 1–2 minutes. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
