Air-Fryer Tortilla Chips

Want restaurant-style Tortilla Chips at home? Your air fryer (and this recipe) can help! Crispy chips flavored with olive oil and sea salt and colored with your fave dip.

Ingredients

  • 5 corn tortillas preferably organic
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt or to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F.
  • While the air fryer is preheating, take a sharp knife or a pizza cutter and slice the corn tortillas into wedges. You can mimick the shape of traditional tortilla chips (aim for 6 to 8 wedges per tortilla).
  • In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and sea salt and brush each tortilla wedge lightly on both sides.

  • Arrange the oiled tortilla wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not to overcrowd the basket to allow even air circulation. If your air fryer is too small, work in batches.

  • Cook the tortilla chips for 4-6 minutes. They can go from perfectly crisp to overly browned VERY quickly so keep an eye on them and take them out when they reach your desired level of crunchiness.
  • Carefully remove the chips from the air fryer and let them cool slightly—they will continue to crisp up as they cool.
