– 2 tablespoons olive oil – 1 medium head green cabbage, cored and sliced into thin strips – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar – 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and stir to coat with oil.

Cook the cabbage, stirring occasionally, until it starts to soften and brown on the edges, about 15 minutes.
