Combine balsamic vinegar and brown sugar in a small saucepan. Place over medium heat. Once a simmer develops, reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the glaze to cool. It will thicken further as it cools.
