Pomegranate Margarita Recipe (Delicious!)

Get festive Southern-style this holiday season with a ruby-red Pomegranate Margarita, mixing together the Mexican staple of tequila with the sweet and fruity triple sec and pomegranate juice.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. triple sec
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz. pomegranate juice
  • ice cubes
  • lime wedge and salt for the glass rim
  • pomegranate seeds for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip it into a plate of salt to create a salt rim.
  • Add tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, pomegranate juice, and a handful of ice cubes to a shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.
  • Strain the cocktail into your prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge and some pomegranate seeds.

Notes

  • Pomegranate margaritas should be served in a margarita glass (as seen in the photos).
  • For that authentic margarita feel, apply the salted rim.
  • To finish it off, drop a few pomegranate seeds in the drink and add a lime slice to the rim.
