2oz.tequila
1oz.triple sec
1oz.fresh lime juice
2oz.pomegranate juice
ice cubes
lime wedge and saltfor the glass rim
pomegranate seedsfor garnish, optional
Instructions
Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip it into a plate of salt to create a salt rim.
Add tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, pomegranate juice, and a handful of ice cubes to a shaker.
Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.
Strain the cocktail into your prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge and some pomegranate seeds.
Notes
Pomegranate margaritas should be served in a margarita glass (as seen in the photos).
For that authentic margarita feel, apply the salted rim.
To finish it off, drop a few pomegranate seeds in the drink and add a lime slice to the rim.
