Ingredients
2chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1cupsour cream
½cuplow-fat mayonnaise
1clovegarlic
½limejuiced
1pinchsalt
Instructions
Add the ingredients to your food processor.
Blend together. Scrape down the sides of the processor bowl occasionally to ensure all the dip is consistent. Continue blending until all the peppers have been blended smooth.
Pour the sauce into a jar or a serving bowl.
Notes
Start with one chipotle pepper instead of two to better control the degree of heat.
Always taste the sauce after blending and adjust seasoning accordingly.
For a thicker dip, add less lime juice. For a thinner consistency, blend in a splash of water or more lime.
