Remember how I went to Wisconsin to visit the In-Laws a couple weeks ago?
Well, I thought maybe ya’ll would be interested in seeing some vacation pics!
You know, because I do other things besides making food to stuff into yo’ face.
How-ev-er, I am not going to lie, I REALLY missed you guys and cooking. <3
Is it weird that it actually felt good to get back to work?
Don’t answer that
Here’s some photos of my life and stuff. Enjoy!
P.S in the picture above from left to right: Hubs and I, my Mom and Dad In-Law, My brother in law and his wife and then my other brother in law and his fiancee.
The first day we went on a boat ride. This is us being cute and stuff.
Then the kids went antique-ing. I got some sa-weet props for photos! I think I could spend my whole life in an antique shop.
Me: “Oh, the motor isn’t working, why don’t you row us and I’ll watch?” Hubs “You’re a jerk”
On the way to the “fishing spot” we saw a little family of deer!
Is my Grandpa-In Law not the cutest Grandpa EVAH? We met up and fished side by side.
We <3 fishing. Although, we didn’t catch much. And by much, I mean nothing. And by nothing, I mean we got up early and went fishing at 7am one day for 2 hours….we didn’t even get ONE BITE. But, we listened to a really good Sermon podcast, so there was a silver lining.
The huberoni shooting…and me pretending like I am scoping, or something.
My Mother-in Law is the sweetest lady ever. Until you give ‘er a pistol. GO MOM!
We went on a mini golfing double date with my Bro-In Law. This is the Huberoni’s classic pose in any picture I take of him. He thinks he’s Captain Morgan apparently.
We needed some us time, so we went on a 14 mile bike ride. And then we saw this sign in the MIDDLE OF THE WOODS. Clearly, we HAD to stop for a drink.
The woods bar was EPIC. And the bike ride back? Even more epic.
It’s not Wisconsin without cheese. On our last day we went cheese sampling. Our favorite? Cheese fudge. Yes, cheese that tastes like fudge. Only in Wisconsin.
Every single time we fly, our flight gets messed up. This time was no different. Both our flights were delayed and then our flight number fell off the face of the earth in Chicago. It wasn’t on any of those monitors that tells you flights, gates etc. 2 hours after we were supposed to leave, a random side door (that wasn’t a gate) opened and they made us all go down some sketchy stairs, through the airport basement, and onto the tarmac. Also, no one checked passports. I thought I was going to be on LOST, the sequel.
I am happy to report that I survived and we made it home safe. Late, but safe.
I hope you enjoyed a little peek into my family! See ya tomorrow for ze food!
