Place the wonton wrappers on a flat surface and spoon a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wrapper.

Brush the edges with some water and form a triangle shape.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F. Drop the prawn wontons in the hot oil and deep-fry them in batches until golden brown.
