Protein drinks that come in a bottle and look like a sugar-laden beverage.
Which means you can totally fool your husband into believing that is what he is consuming, but REALLY he is drinking ALL the whey protein isolate!
Not that I did that or anything. You know I would never try to fool the Huberoni into being healthy without his knowledge.
Except on days ending with “Y.”
I see the lightbulb going on in your brain.
Anywho. Back to my favoritest topic of all the topics: getting our muscley-building-protein-goodness on.
When I had the chance to try Isopure’s Whey Protein Isolate, I most definitely thought I was only going to be getting the standard bag of powder.
Not that I would be complaining. I mean, cookies and cream after a workout that is so healthy that I didn’t even have to do the workout to work off the actual cookies and cream?! I am IN.
Was that confusing? Read it slow. We will get there. I promise.
BUT THEN, this SUPER heavy box came to my door and I was all WHAT IN TARNATION? Did they send me protein powder for ALL the evers that I have left on the earth?!
Which would have been sa-weet.
BUT THEN, the sequel, there were bottles of what I thought were pop or some sort of energy drink. I was confuzzled. What WAS IT?!
And then I read the nutritional info and my health-loving-socks were knocked right on off. 160 calories, ZERO CARBS and 40 grams of protein?! OH and gluten free and packed with vitamins and minerals?
I thought there was a wizard living inside the bottle peeps.
I mean, how did they get it so clear, and not tasting all gritty and weird-like, with all the protein in there? Must be magic.
Orrrr, it could be Isopure’s microfiltration process. There IS that.
Both the traditional protein powder and these protein drinks come in a TON of yum-tastic flavours (HELLO Strawberries & Cream and Toasted coconut!) to keep you lean, means and eating clean!
