So, if you haven’t noticed, I have been trying to do something non-food related on Tuesdays (although sometimes we have had food on such days.)
When we did that reader survey, ya’ll said you wanted more real life stuff, fitness stuff and faith stuff….so I’ve been trying to dedicate Tuesday’s to such things. Are you liking random recaps of my vacays, fitness reviews etc??
Today, I decided we needed a little inspiration. Because, really, does it evah hurt to read uplifting quotes?
No, it does not.
So, I’m keeping it brief today. Here’s a few little quotes that I have been loving. If you follow me on Pinterest or Facebook, you may have already seen these! 🙂 Happy Tuesday!
I need to remember this. I get caught up in all the stupid little things that I wish I had. But, really, I live in Sunny Florida with an great God, an ah-may-zing, supportive husband AND a cute little puppy. PLUS I love you guys and this blog. Life is fabulous.
My mom used to sing “you are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey. You’ll never know dear, how much I love you, please don’t take my sunshine away” to me when I was little. So this is kinda special to me.
So much love for this quote.
So true. Why is it so hard to cast our cares on Jesus. But, personally, I would like to learn to. A life with less worries? I’m in! Plus, I know I sometimes fall short in my prayer life…which I find is directly linked to how much anxiety I feel in a day.
This one is convicting for me, especially in my marriage. I am REALLY stubborn and always want to “be right” or “get the last word.” I’ve been working on this and, who woulda thought, I’m happier and me and the hubs are even happier! 🙂
Come on now, have you SEEN a bird with a french fry? The happiest of happys.
Risks are scary! But they can also be VERY worth it. We just have to learn to take the jump…and soar! 🙂
This is SO true. I start the day off with devotionals. But, some days, I get into this selfish mode of “I am too busy for that” and then end up not doing them. I can always tells when I haven’t done them for even a day. when I do, God is on my mind a lot more frequently!
One of my all time favorite scriptures.
This one is MAJOR for me. I’ve been pretty open about my struggles/issues with food. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in my it and my “Self” that it totally consumes and controls me. I want to control myself, not my self control me.
I hope you got a little something out of a day! See you with some food-skey-doodle-do tomorrow!
P.s No, that is not foreshadowing to chicken. I’m just weird. 🙂

LOVE this, Taylor! These quotes are kinda just what I needed to read this morning—The Psalm 27 excerpt is definitely one of my favorite Bible verses! 🙂

So much love for this post!!!
One thing I can suggest for getting better at giving troubles to Jesus (and there’s a good chance you’ve heard of this) is to make a God box!! That way you can write your trouble down and have something physical to put in the box; sometimes LITERALLY doing the act can help get our mind and heart into the pattern of TRULY giving it to God. Sending lots of love, you spiritual beam of sunlight! Xoxo
