So, if you haven’t noticed, I have been trying to do something non-food related on Tuesdays (although sometimes we have had food on such days.)
When we did that reader survey, ya’ll said you wanted more real life stuff, fitness stuff and faith stuff….so I’ve been trying to dedicate Tuesday’s to such things. Are you liking random recaps of my vacays, fitness reviews etc??
Today, I decided we needed a little inspiration. Because, really, does it evah hurt to read uplifting quotes?
No, it does not.
So, I’m keeping it brief today. Here’s a few little quotes that I have been loving. If you follow me on Pinterest or Facebook, you may have already seen these! 🙂 Happy Tuesday!
I need to remember this. I get caught up in all the stupid little things that I wish I had. But, really, I live in Sunny Florida with an great God, an ah-may-zing, supportive husband AND a cute little puppy. PLUS I love you guys and this blog. Life is fabulous.
My mom used to sing “you are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey. You’ll never know dear, how much I love you, please don’t take my sunshine away” to me when I was little. So this is kinda special to me.
So much love for this quote.
So true. Why is it so hard to cast our cares on Jesus. But, personally, I would like to learn to. A life with less worries? I’m in! Plus, I know I sometimes fall short in my prayer life…which I find is directly linked to how much anxiety I feel in a day.
This one is convicting for me, especially in my marriage. I am REALLY stubborn and always want to “be right” or “get the last word.” I’ve been working on this and, who woulda thought, I’m happier and me and the hubs are even happier! 🙂
Come on now, have you SEEN a bird with a french fry? The happiest of happys.
Risks are scary! But they can also be VERY worth it. We just have to learn to take the jump…and soar! 🙂
This is SO true. I start the day off with devotionals. But, some days, I get into this selfish mode of “I am too busy for that” and then end up not doing them. I can always tells when I haven’t done them for even a day. when I do, God is on my mind a lot more frequently!
One of my all time favorite scriptures.
This one is MAJOR for me. I’ve been pretty open about my struggles/issues with food. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in my it and my “Self” that it totally consumes and controls me. I want to control myself, not my self control me.
I hope you got a little something out of a day! See you with some food-skey-doodle-do tomorrow!
P.s No, that is not foreshadowing to chicken. I’m just weird. 🙂

LOVE this! Exactly what I needed this morning. I especially love the “what if I fall” oh, but my darling, what if you fly? It just resonates with me for some reason. And I kind of want to hang it on my wall.

What a wonderful post! This just made my day brighter! I need to work harder at casting my cares upon the Lord.
Taylor Kiser says
It should be easier to do, but it’s so hard right?! Glad you enjoyed it – thanks Danielle! 😀

I love your inspirational messages, Taylor! I think these are perfect for Thursdays. And the song “you are my sunshine” is so special to me, too. My aunt used to sing it to me all the time when I was little, and throughout the years has gotten me trinkets and such with the saying on it. Thanks for sharing!
Taylor Kiser says
That is TOO cute! It’s cool that we share a special memory like that Gayle! Glad you enjoyed the post, thank you!

Every single one – let me emphasize EVERY SINGLE ONE – of these made my afternoon today! Thanks for the inspiration lady! My dad used to sing “You are my sunshine to my daughter” – he sang it to her from the time she was a baby to a few weeks before he passed away at the nursing home – after he passed, my daughter and I were shopping at Walmart and we were walking by the aisle where they have their pictures/paintings and one with “You are my Sunshine” in yellow printed on an aqua (her fav color) background fell off the shelf – some people think it was coincidence, but I like to think not…..
Taylor Kiser says
That definitely sounds like not a coincidence to me! So cool! I am so glad you liked these quotes lady, and that they resonated with you!! I hope the rest of your day is amazing!!

The bird with a french fry one is hilarious! 🙂 My favorite quote recently is, “The first person you must lead is you.” I think about this a lot lately in my personal life and career. A good reminder to be responsible for my own motivation and goals. Thank you for the uplifting thoughts! 🙂
Taylor Kiser says
Isn’t that one so cute!
Oh, I also LOVE that quote…it’s so true! Thank you for sharing Michelle!

Love these!!! I love to sing to my great granddaughter. I think they will always remember it. She will be 3 in Dec. She has loved JESUS LOVES ME every since infancy. She now wants it sung to her while she is wrapped in her bath towel as she stands in the tub. When I get to the part that says Yes, JESUS loves me, I say Yes JESUS loves Kimber, and she says Gran for me. That just made my day the first time she did that. Oh how young they can learn good or bad.
BLESSINGS!!!
Taylor Kiser says
Jesus loves me is SUCH a great song!! And that is SOO ADORABLE!! I love it!!
Have a great weekend Charlotte! 😀

You just made my Friday afternoon Taylor 🙂 So much love for the falling/flying quote. I sometimes stay in my safe zone because it is so easy to, and that fear of rejection is the stone that weighs me down. We all have to remember that to get the pay off we must first step out there and give ourselves and our creations to the world. Thanks for the inspiration to get me through the last few hours at work!
Taylor Kiser says
I am the same way. I always say that I love change and stuff, but really I am the biggest scardey cat! I am so glad to help out! Thanks Amy! 😀
