WHOA. It’s SATURDAY.
AND THERE’S SOMETHING NEW.
AND it’s something that I am REALLY excited about.
Today, I am teaming up with Adobe to give one of you REALLY lucky people a one year subscription to the Creative Cloud Photography Plan!
Would that not be the most awesome thing to give someone this Christmas? Or even as a Christmas gift to yourself? 🙂 Just sayin’.
Now, some of you may be wondering what the Creative Cloud Photography plan is. So, let me tell you.
This plan gives you a monthly subscription to both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, without having to go out and buy the disc. You just pay a monthly fee, and then you are able to download the programs RIGHT to your computer. It’s so easy guys.
I personally use both Lightroom and Photoshop to edit the photos that ya’ll see here on FFF. I use Lightroom 100% of the time for editing, and Photoshop allows me to put that pretty little text that you see on the opening image to each post. Both programs are completely user-friendly and easy to learn. I just did a little bit of asking Mr. Google when I first started with editing, and off I went.
If you don’t use these programs to edit your photos, or if you’re just starting out and have been wondering what to use, I HIGHLY x100 recommend that you start here.
And, considering I use them every.single.day. you can trust me 🙂
There is another plan that is similar to the Photography Plan, which is simply called “Creative Cloud.” This plan gives you access to other programs in the Adobe line as well.
I use this plan because I also use two other Adobe programs – Illustrator and InDesign.
Illustrator is SO great for making things like Media Kits, or designing business cards, which is what I have used the program for. It took me a little bit to get the hang off but, again, nothing that I couldn’t figure out with just a few minutes of research. My media kit and business cards look professionally done thanks to this program!
Finally, we come to InDesign. This is the program that I am currently working with to make a superfun e-book that will be launching in early January for all of ya’ll that subscribe to email updates. So if you don’t subscribe, let’s get on it kay?
I’m kidding. Sort of.
It makes gorgeous books that, again, look super professional and swanky.
Really, I can’t say enough great things about my experiences using the line of Adobe programs. They really are top notch.
If you’re a budding photographer/blogger OR know someone who is, I would HIGHLY suggest that the Creative Cloud Photography Plan would be a great gift to help get them started.
