This healthy chocolate truffle recipe is quick and easy, and has a surprise ingredient to keep them healthy! It has a yummy banana chip coating, and a peanut butter filling.
Things that I am obsessed with:
- Peanut butter. We discussed this with Peanut Butter Cheesecake bars.
- Millionaire Matchmaker. You know this. I reference it a lot. No shame.
- Socks. Actually, it’s kind of obsessed/hate.
Let’s unwrap that last point for the sake of…I don’t know. I just feel a need.
The obsession part. I’m going to put a disclaimer before I ‘splain : Mr. FFF if you actually read this, which you never do so today will obvi be the day that you do since I’m talking about your socks, know that I love you and your little feet.
That was kind of a weird disclaimer. How-ev-er, Mr. FFF? He has the LITTLEST man feet…which means he has the littlest man feet socks. I also think they are just about the cutest socks ever.
So cute, in fact, that I included them in our wedding vows. I wrote something like “I love you because…you have little socks.”
He hates when I talk about his socks, but everyone laughed, so it’s all good.
And, now you understand the disclaimer.
The hatred:
THEY FEEL SO WEIRD ON YOUR FEET WITHOUT SHOES. Do you guys feel this way? Please tell me that I am not alone.
Every day when I get home, I kick off my shoes and have a mini panic attack, and need to get those socks of STAT.
My living room floor is littered with my spazzy, remove-the-sock rejects. I’m not even lying.
It’s funny how beginning to talk about my peanut butter obsession led me to rant about my relationship with socks. My brain does things that I don’t understand.
Now that I’ve got that off my feet, Let’s talk about something normal now, like a peanut butter obsession. I feel like almost the whole world has IneedtoeatpeanutbuttereverydayorI’mgrumpy-itis. Maybe that’s just me though.
So, instead of trying to help cure world diseases today, we’re going to feed them (literally. Just laugh.) And make them much, much worse. I think you’ll be ok with it though.
Have you ever tried using avocados in desserts? It makes some MEAN healthy chocolate chip cookies, gluten free brownies and a gluten free sugar cookie tart.
This healthy chocolate truffle recipe is crazy easy, fudgey, chocolatey, secretly healthy thanks to them avocados. PLUS, they’re covered in crunchy, sweet, banana chips.
Oh ya…and they’re filled with peanut butter.
I’m dead.
